So I thought. Why not combine this blog with some old vintage true new age music. Theres so much contemporary awesome music going on but with roots in the past that some seem to be quite unaware of - not that I am any expert in the subject except that I enjoy listening to it... Well, whatever.
So First off, this hidden gem by David Naegele. This tape was released on Valley Of The Sun in 1983. Repetitive synth based new age music. Very cool to say the least. Ive got some tapes by Upper Astral, also on Valley of the Sun, will post them later on.

Totally mind–blowing stuff from Kyiv, Ukraine: Nastya Vakuum (Настя Вакуум) makes some of the best avant garde pop right now, just in the same sense as artists like Maria Minerva.

Blablarism is Kiev based musician Oksana Zmorovytch. The music could best be described as post-punk, but with a very contemporary approach and unique sound. Highly recomended!

Ok this is obviously not a tape but its a very nice LP. Released on Constellation Tatsu in 2012. Reminds a bit of the 90s new age acts like Software and Megabyte but also with more contemporary artists like Outer Space and Emeralds.
Sand Circles - Daylight Arrival
This tape hadn't almost been released before it was sold out. I saw a copy on discogs once but it was gone two hours later... Don't know how many copies that were actually made. Great find anyhow. More crisp and not that lofi as Sand Circles other tapes. Released on SF Broadcast.
